Hi everybody. I made this website for the following three reasons:
Online contactability (without having to use social media). I really dislike having decisions made by algorithms... it really rubs me the wrong way that all the news, entertainment, etc on social media is routed to us from what's basically a black box. So I don't social medialize anymore. This does cut me off from some opportunities but the upsides overshadow the losses a hundred times over. If people really want to get in touch with me, they can do so by finding my email under my contact page.
I like to make things sometimes (music, writing in various forms, etc), and I wanted a digital space to showcase beforementioned things,
I want to print myself out some business cards and thought it would be so f'ing cool to have a website on the card.
Do You Want to Make a Similar Thing?
I used the steps outlined here to figure out all the computer stuff. Took me WAY LONGER than I thought it would take to get to this point... like 12 hours, but you could probably do it in like 6-8 if you sat down and did it all at once.
